Fundraising Update

Hello Everyone,

We are working hard to fundraise enough money to get our UCLA MSW group to Sacramento this April. Our Thanksgiving fundraiser generated over $500 this year and T-shirt sales are going well. Please contact us if you are interested in purchasing our T-shirts: See below info

Prices:
UCLA students registered to go to Lobby Days : $10
UCLA students not registered to go to Lobby Days: $12
UCLA Faculty or anyone else who wants to buy a shirt: 15

Shirts are Navy Blue with Baby Blue text and we have sizes small through x-large
Quote on the back of shirt: "The best way to find yourself, is to lose yourself in the service of others" -Mahatma Gandhi

* The design was created by Amer (a client at the Painted Brain) and a portion of the shirt sales so to the Painted Brain, a peer-driven media and outreach campaign created by young adults with mental illness. Their mission is to eradicate the stigma of mental illness, foster thriving social relationships and to create a community of young adults. PRETTY AWESOME!
The shirts are screen printed by Homeboy Industries (another amazing agency working to end gang violence in Los Angeles thoguh providing jobs, counseling, and case mgmt to those in gangs or former gang mambers)

These shirts help 2 fantastic organizations. Please consider buying them for family and friends as a way to fundraise for Lobby Days and help out these 2 organizations financially.

We plan to have several more fundraising opportunities in the coming months and will keep everyone updated.

Cheers and have a relaxing holiday break (:
